Join the Newport Tree Conservancy in learning about treating the
outdoors with kindness and respect. We will hike the trails of Ballard
Park in Newport, RI, in pursuit of signs of wildlife among the trees,
different habitats, and how we can care for and protect these special
spaces. Dress warmly to be outdoors for the duration of this program.
Wear sturdy shoes as the trails are rocky in some places. This
is not a drop off program - an adult or affiliated troop leader must
be registered with your Girl Scout or troop. This program is weather
dependent. Badges included in the program cost. Daisies earn
their Eco Learner Badge and Brownies earn their Eco Friend Badge!
