Have you always wanted your very own bonsai tree, but don't know
where to start? Are you concerned about buying a tree without knowing
how to keep it alive and happy? Our Bonsai Basics Workshop hosted
right here at New England Bonsai (In Bellingham, MA), is designed to
give bonsai beginners all the information they need to grow a happy,
healthy bonsai tree. You will receive a jade tree that you will have
the opportunity to learn on. We have a proven format. You can be
assured you will receive an excellent experience along with the
knowledge needed to start this great hobby. You'll come away with full
confidence to keep your tree, train it, and turn it into a beautiful
addition to your home that you'll cherish for years. After touring the
greenhouse, selecting your tree and pot, the fun begins. The
instructor will help you transform, transplant, trim, and prune your
tree. After a couple of hours, you'll get to go home with an awesome
bonsai tree you know how to care for. NOTE FOR ADULTS: The $45 fee is
only if you would like to make a tree for yourself! If you would like
to attend as just a chaperone at no additional cost, please email
customercare@gssne.org so we can add you to the roster. Daisies
receive gardening patch; Brownies and Juniors recieve JR Gardener
badge, but Brownies must wait until they bridge to put it on their uniform.
